Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Roadmaster base plate kit with removable arms. Before we do that though, let's take a minute, check it out, and make sure this is gonna work for you. Before we jump right in, I figured it'd be useful just to address one of the main questions a lot of people wonder when it comes to setting up a flat tow, and that's what parts am I gonna need. There's gonna be a total of five main components, and usually we like to be hooked up to the motor home and really give you a good visual of what's going on. We got some really bad weather today, so kind of stuck inside, but that in mind, you're gonna have your base plate and that's going to give us an attachment point. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer Invisible Base Plate on our 2022 Jeep Gladiator. Before we get into it, we're gonna talk about the five main components that are involved in a flat tow in order to safely do it behind your motor home. The first is gonna be your base plate, which is going to mount on your vehicle. The second will be your tow bar, which connects the RV to the vehicle and you'll have your braking system, your supplemental braking system, which helps the vehicle stop behind the motor home so that the motor home doesn't have to do all the braking. You'll have your diode wiring, which transfers the lighting signals from your motor home to the back of your vehicle. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Jeep Gladiator, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Roadmaster Direct-Connect baseplate. First, it's gonna be your baseplate that's going to be on the towed vehicle. You'll mount it to typically to the frame. Then you'll have your tow bar, which is gonna connect the RV to your towed vehicle. You'll have wiring, which is going to send the signals from your motor home to the taillights on your towed vehicle, so that others know what you're doing. more

Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator. I'm gonna walk you I don't want install the blue ox base plate kit with removable tab. This is where our base plate is gonna look like when it's installed. It's gonna be one of the five main components needed to flat tow the vehicle. The other four are gonna be your safety cables, which are a secondary safety device, your tow bar, which connects to the base plate and to the motor home, your wiring, which allows the motor home to transfer light signals back to the vehicle so that everybody knows what you're doing. more

Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit Installation - 2020 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hi there, Jeep owners. Today on your 2020 Jeep Gladiator, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's Crossbar Style base plate.And this is what our base plate looks like when it's installed. Our connection for our tow bar does pass through our under shield here at the bottom, but it stays tucked up nicely underneath the bumper. So it doesn't detract from the looks of the vehicle. In my opinion, on your Jeep, it almost makes it look more aggressive, like you really have something that you're going to be doing with this Jeep. The points where it passes through are going to give you an attachment point for your crossbar style arm, as well as a safety chain attachment right here on the side. more

Conor: Hey everybody, Conor here today at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. So this is what our base plate kit is going to look like installed. As you can see here, we have a nice clean, sleek design. We don't have the arms in right now, which is another nice feature about this base plate kit is that it has a removable arm design. Meaning we're not going to have anything in the actual tabs for our base plate kits while we're driving around town.We also have these nice little plugs to put in place to keep any dirt and debris out of the hole for our base plates. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer invisible base plate kit, here on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So, this is what our base plate kit is going to look like installed on our Jeep. As we can see, it has a very clean, seamless, finished install look. The only thing we're going to be seeing here is we'd have the tab for our base plate, that we insert the arms into as well as the safety chain links here that, we're going to attach our safety cables to. The cross tube is actually going to be hidden behind this plastic skid shield here, again, just making for a really nice finished install look. more

Hi there, Jeep owners. Today on your 2021 Jeep Gladiator, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's direct connect base plate. It'll provide you with your connection point that passes through the bottom here and it tucks up under the bumper nicely so it blends in. And honestly, on our Jeep here, the gloss black and everything here with our bumper in the front, it kind of gives it an aggressive look. It almost makes it look like you're really doing something with your Jeep. You're going off road, doing some heavy duty work, but you we're just flat towing, but it does add to the aesthetic of it, I think. more

Clayton here at etrailer.com, and today, we'll be taking a look at and I'll show you how to install Demco's Tabless Base Plate Kit on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator.Our base plate is going to be one of our major components in our flat-towing set up. We're going to have our base plate, our tow bar, our safety chains, our wiring, our supplemental braking system, and our stoplight switch. Our base plate is the key attachment point between our vehicle and our tow bar. Our base plate bolts right up to our frame, that way it's a good, strong connection to our tow bar. Our base plate is going to be a steel construction, so it's going to be really strong for a long time. more
